Avery's Flat Stanley in North Carolina!
Flat Stanley visited Avery's family in Holly Springs and Cary, North
Carolina! Holly Springs is located in the heart of the state and is
about 30 minutes from Raleigh (which is the capital). Holly Springs has
their own summer collegiate baseball team and plays against teams from
North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. Flat Stanley also
visited some really, cool places in Cary which is also one of the
fastest growing small cities in the United States! Cary has around 160,000 people and continues to grow by around 60 people every day! He
toured the newly built library and enjoyed this cool water feature
right in the heart of downtown Cary. I hope Flat Stanley and your class
enjoyed hearing about our town, and now he's on his way to Brentwood,
California!

Lila's Flat Stanley in Pennsylvania!
Lila's Flat Stanley has made his 2nd trip and this time
he made an appearance in Altoona, Pennsylvania!
He went
to the world famous Horseshoe Curve, the only passageway through from
Pittsburgh to Harrisburg and had his picture taken with a Pennsylvania
Railroad car. Check out Horseshoe Curve here:
He also
made stops at Sheetz (which is way better than Wawa, by the way), The
Meadows Frozen Custard, Boyer Candies (home of the Mallo Cup which are
sold in Cumberland Farms stores), and the home of Benzel's Bretzels. You
can find them in Dollar Stores and Ocean State Job Lot in Maine!

Vante's Flat Stanley had a great visit with his Auntie Jill! They went from Boston, Massachusetts to Summerville, South Carolina. They started at Logan Airport in Boston, and took a direct flight to Charleston, South Carolina. Fun Facts: Logan airport had more than 33,000 flights and 3 million passengers in the month of January, 2020! Flat Stanley was excited to fly! He had a window seat and loved seeing the view from above the clouds.
