Flat Stanley had a wonderful time in Denver, Colorado!
Unfortunately we couldn't take him too far because we didn't want him to
get sick, but he did get to explore the foothills of the Rocky
Mountains a little bit before heading to Texas. Did you know the Rocky
Mountains span from western Canada through the counties of British Columbia and Alberta all the way over the border into the USA through the states of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Colorado, New Mexico, Utah, & Arizona?
The Rocky Mountains are 76 million years old and
their highest peak is Mount Elbert in Colorado which is 14,440 feet
high! There are 53 mountains in Colorado over 14,000 feet tall, more
than any other state!
We hope you are staying safe and healthy Ava! Goodbye from Denver, Colorado!
