Flat Stanley is enjoying time in one of Eddie's favorite states,
Massachusetts! While he has been here spending quality time with Eddie's
cousin, he has seen so many exciting things!
The beginning of his journey here started with a tour of the
historical South Boston. He got to see the Dorchester Heights Monument,
World War II Memorial, L-Street Beach and lastly, he went to cheer on
the Celtics!
Boston is a pretty great city, George Washington (Mrs. Sturgis's class,
take a peek at a dollar bill, you'll see George Washington's face on
it!) spent a lot of time here. In fact, Flat Stanley visited Dorchester
Heights on the anniversary of him winning a war here!
Most people only go to the beach during the summer time, right?... Here in Boston we have an event called, The Polar Plunge. On New Years Day, a bunch of silly people go swimming in the ocean! The rest of the year there are people sun bathing like Flat Stanley is here in this picture.
After a few historical tours around the city, we decided to have a
little bit of fun and go see a Celtics game. We spent a few hours at TD
Garden watching the Celtics win an awesome game.
His last night here, he spent the evening checking out the gorgeous skyline relaxing on a roof deck.
Off to his next adventure!
