Samuel's Flat Stanley in Idaho!

Flat Stanley visited us on April 18 in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  Idaho is known as the gem state but is best known for its potatoes.  It is a beautiful state with many mountains, lakes, and forests.  A very small part of Idaho crosses into Grand Teton National Park which adjoins Yellowstone National Park very near where Flat Stanley visited.
The two pictures were taken of the falls (this is why it is called Idaho Falls) along part of the Snake River that runs right through our town.  You can also see a Mormon temple in the background.

Flat Stanley went to work with Aunt Lisa to Cardinal Hill Rehabilitation Hospital.  Stanley met Dr. Sawaki who was a lead Doctor In the "Walk Again Project" World Cup 2014, Brazil.

Dr. Sawaki confirmed Flat Stanley was perfectly healthy! Way to go, Flat Stanley!

Flat Stanley also had the opportunity of getting on the G-EO, a robotic walking device, there are only 2 in the USA.

Brooklyn's Flat Stanley Having Fun in Kentucky!

Kentucky has more stone walls than any other state, some of them were made before the Civil War.  Flat Stanley really liked them.

All the old farms and Plantations had their own burial plats right on their land.  Flat Stanley found this tomb stone across the road from Aunt Lisa's house.  Can you see how old it is and what is carved on top of it?

Brookly's Flat Stanley in Kentucky!

Kentucky is the "Horse Capital of the World". So Flat Stanley wanted to see what the horses do in Lexington. Can you see him on the door?

The Red Mile is a horse racing track located in Lexington, Kentucky, United States. The track hosts harness racing, a type of horse racing in which the horses must pull two-wheeled carts called sulkies while racing. It is one of harness racing's most famous tracks and is located in the heart of the Bluegrass region, an area of Kentucky famous for horse breeding and racing.

Stanley was able to sit on some real sulkies, this one had set a world record.

Brooklyn's Flat Stanley in Lexington, Kentucky!

It didn't take Flat Stanley long to find out if you live in Lexington, Kentucky you have to be a Wild Cat Fan!

There are 1022 miles between Brooklyn's home and Brooklyn's Aunt Lisa's home in Lexington, Kentucky.

Flat Stanley saw where the Wild Cats broke a record and won 38 games in a row this year.

Can you find Stanley in this picture? He is teeny tiny!

Many thanks for the great mail delivery!
