We brought Flat Stanley home with us from Welshpool, Wales, U.K. He was with our grandchildren, Jim and Lucy Ward.
We live in Eatonton, Georgia. That's 80 miles east of Atlanta, the capital! Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in Atlanta is the busiest airport in the world--it has many, many travelers!
Eatonton is the dairy capital of Georgia. It is the home of writers Joel Chandler Harris and Alice Walker.
Georgia was one of the 13 original colonies and has 159 counties. There are 10.43 million people here! WOW!
We are retired and live on Lake Oconee. The lake has great fishing for bass, crappie, catfish and bream. It is also good for boating, skiing, and paddle-boarding.
