Aidan's Flat Stanley continues his trip in Minnesota!

Here is Flat Stanley beside the Mississippi River!  Although Minnesota is known for having harsh winters, this year had been mild.  Typically the river is frozen solid at this time of year, but if you look closely in this photo you can see open water!  Barges transporting sand travel along The Mississippi River from April - October.  We can often see them from our house.  The first time I saw it, I thought I was seeing a floating pyramid!
