Katelyn's Flat Stanley in Colorado!



Flat Stanley at 17 mile house: former stagecoach stop with a square log structure covered with clapboard. It was a stopping place during the 1800s along the Smoky Hill Trail. It is one of the last two remaining trail houses left on the trail.

Flat Stanley on the way to Pikes Peak: Pikes Peak is the highest summit of the southern Front Range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The ultra-prominent14,115-foot (4,302.31 m) and hosts the annual  Pikes Peak International Hill Climb; The track measures 12.42 miles (19.99 km) over 156 turns, climbing 4,720 ft. (1,440 m) from the start on Pikes Peak Highway, to the finish at 14,110 ft. (4,300 m) The race has taken place since 1916, making it the second oldest motorsport event in the Western Hemisphere behind the Indianapolis 500.
