Alex's Flat Stanley Crosses the United States!

Alex's Flat Stanley started his journey on April 11 in San Diego, California with Alex's second cousin Brian and his dog Zues!  They do this trip every year and it takes them 5 days to go from California to Maine! They travel through 16 states!

DAY 1:  They began their journey in San Diego, California.  They stopped in Holbrook, Arizona, then went to Albuquerque, New Mexico! Then they drove through the flat plains to Amarillo, Texas!

Day 2:
They traveled to Oklahoma! They stopped at Tinker Air Force base and saw the retired Air Force One and an old bomber.  They saw Oklahoma City, and then went on to  Conway, Arkansas! Total travel so far: 1665 miles. They are halfway!

 Day 3:
They went through Tennessee! Nashville in the morning and Knoxville at night.

Day 4: Flat Stanley and his friends are in Virginia! In Virginia Hills, they stopped and let Flat Stanley take Zues for a walk.  Then, on to West Virginia, a short cut through Maryland into Pennsylvania.  Brian says a lot of traffic now!

They are in the home stretch now! We'll see the last of Alex's Flat Stanley trip soon!  WOW!  Flat Stanley must need a nap after that long drive.
