Tom and Ginny lived in Bath, Maine for 3 years. Tom was a pilot in the US Navy stationed at Brunswick Naval air station.
Now Tom and Ginny live here in Annapolis.
Annapolis is the capital of the state of Maryland as well the home of the United States Naval Academy. Tom is going to take me to the Naval Academy tomorrow!
On the way to the Naval Academy we will cross over the bridge that was named for Autumn's Uncle Pat who was a Navy SEAL killed fighting for his country in Afghanistan. Later in the week Ginny will be taking me to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. The battle of Gettysburg was the turning point of the American Civil War. General Robert E Lee and the army of the Confederacy (the south) was defeated by General George Meade and the Union Army (the north).
