More from Mackyzie's Flat Stanley in Missouri!

Hi- I’m back!   Russ and Beth took me to the Saint Louis Art Museum, and it was big and full of paintings, sculptures and even exhibits of actual clothing worn a long time ago by the Native Americans.   These three photos are of the outside of the museum.  The huge statue of the king on a horse
Is King Louis IX (9th) who the city is named after.  In the second photo, I am standing on top of the hill in front of the museum overlooking the beautiful fountains and lake below.  The hill is known as Art Hill, and when Beth was a little girl she and a lot of kids in St. Louis would sled down the hill in winter. It is a long ride and you had to be sure not to fall in the lake!  The third photo is a sculpture of an enormous electrical outlet made of iron and copper. So cool to climb on!  I’ll be back soon with more photos of the museum.
